She has toured five continents: Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America (South America) including North America and she has visited more than 100 countries.

The Our Lady of Fatima statue made her way to St. Therese Little Flower Church in Rugby Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 4-5.

Our Lady of Fatima is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In 1917, Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal. They were Lucia Santos, Jacinto Marto and Francisco Manto. Our Lady appeared to the children several times and performed a miracle making the sun dance in the sky, which thousands of people witnessed. She told the children to say the Rosary every day to bring peace to the world and the end of war, according to Catholic church information.

Tom Ross, statue custodian with Our Lady’s Blue Army, World Apostolate of Fatima, USA, started her journey in January in Kentucky.

For two nights the pews in the St. Therese Little Flower Church filled with faith believers, onlookers of all ages and curious people waiting their turn to take pictures and listen to Ross speak about the miracles and spiritual experiences.

Cassandra Zwingle and her family were among parishioners who participated Oct. 5 in praying the Rosary at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. Zwingle said she “hopes that her (the statue of Lady Fatima) presence touches many people’s hearts.”

By December, the statue is scheduled to finish the U.S. tour in Orange County, California.
