Marcia D. Eagleson, 75, Mandan, ND, formerly of Rugby, ND, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, at a Bismarck hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at First Lutheran Church in Rugby ND on Friday February 10, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. Marcia was born August 7, 1947, at Langdon, ND, to Glen and Verna (Restad) Goodman.
She grew up on a farm near Milton ND and graduated from high school there in 1965. She married Boyd K Eagleson on May 8,1965 in Grand Forks ND. They lived in Towner ND, Milton ND, Rugby ND and Mandan ND. She worked a variety of jobs over the years.
She enjoyed taking pictures and scrapbooking. She was an avid movie & jeopardy fan and loved to play trivial pursuit. She was a cat lover and loved to play pianos & organs. Her rare talent was that she could write backwards in cursive writing. If you met her, she would ask your middle name and always remember it.
She is survived by her children Chad (Corie) Eagleson: Bismarck ND, Andrea (Brian) Bonness: Mandan ND, Sean (Melissa) Eagleson: West Fargo ND, Jace (Jenn Tofte): Balta ND, Ashley (Kyle) Beeter: Velva ND. Her grandchildren: McKenzie Klein: Mandan ND, Tyler (Chlorisa) Mongeon: Beulah ND, Tierney Eagleson: Grand Forks ND, Preston Eagleson: Watford City ND, Brandon Eagleson: Bismarck ND, Peyton Eagleson: Watford City, ND, Kade Beeter: Grand Forks ND, Oakley Eagleson: West Fargo ND, Kenley, Karsyn, Klay, & Kymber Beeter: Velva ND and Archer Eagleson: Balta ND. Her great-grandchildren: Jayel Klein & Elyn Sanda: Mandan ND. Her brother Bernie (Carol) Goodman: Milton ND, sister in laws: Nancy Eagleson: Grand Forks ND and Shirley (Floyd) Graveline: Bemidji MN & several nieces and nephews.
Marcia was preceded in death by her husband Boyd, her parents, her son Ross & brother Dennis Goodman. Creamation has taken place. A burial will be held later this spring at the Milton Memorial Cemetery in Milton ND. Funeral arrangements are being made with DaWise-Perry / Mandan Crematory, Mandan, North Dakota.
