He attended Wolford Pub-

and began working with
his Dad on the family
farm. In early 2000s he
worked as a crop adjuster

Elwood loved the sim-
ple country life and farm-
ing lifestyle. He lived and
took his last breath on the
farm he grew up on. He
loved raising livestock
and he loved taking drives
through the country. To
many he was a soft spo-
ken and kind man. He
taught his children how to
work hard and be respon-
sible. He always said, rais-
ing teenagers were some
of the most enjoyable
times of his life. He loved
having fun with his
grandchildren, taking
them on rides on the trac-
