Marion Fosness

Marion Eleanore Fos-

ness passed away on July

6, 2021. She was born on

August 10th, 1924 in Rug-

by, North Dakota. In 1944,

she moved to Bremerton.

Marion began her work-

ing career at the Puget

Sound Naval Shipyard in

1944. She retired from the

Naval Supply Center in

1980.

Marion was a member

of the Sons of Norway.

She was a member of the

Harrison Medical Center

Auxiliary and volunteered

at the Hospital Gift Shop.

She was also a life

member of NARFE (Na-

tional Association of Re-

tired Federal Employees).

She enjoyed traveling and

all kinds of needlework.

She was preceded in

death by her parents, John

and Inga Fosness, broth-

ers, Gordon and Donald,

and sister, Florence Vig.

She is survived by five

nieces.
