Donna Mae (Adams) Kofoid
Nov. 13, 1944 – Feb. 11, 2021
Donna Mae (Adams)
Kofoid, the daughter of
Reinholdt and Bertha
(Brandt) Adams, was born
on November 13, 1944.
She went to be with her
Lord at the age of 76 on
Thursday, February 11,
2021 at Missouri Slope
Assisted Living Center
with family by her side
after a short battle with
cancer.
Donna was raised in
Bottineau County and gra-
duated from Bottineau
High School. She was
proud to raise her four
daughters and was a
long-time resident of Rug-
by. She had a love for
gardening, reading and
was an avid baker that al-
ways had something
made, just in case. She
loved walking and walked
everywhere. Her
daughter, Tena would
stop in after supper and
they would go for their
evening walks. She loved
her cats, had many in her
lifetime and would always
make sure there was extra
food on hand to feed the
neighborhood cats. Her
family and friends were
important to her and she
did not miss or forget a
birthday. She loved to
write letters and sent
many cards, which her
family and friends always
enjoyed and that will be
dearly missed. Donna al-
ways had a hug waiting
for you and a gentle touch
of her hand on your
cheek. She was very de-
voted in her faith and it
carried her through her
lifeÃ-she is one of the
strongest women you will
ever know. She will be
greatly missed by all her
family and friends, near
and far, especially her
closed dear friend, Mitzy
Teske of Bottineau.
Donna is survived by
her four daughters, Ange-
la (Craig) White and their
sons, Darrian and Karsten
of Windsor, Colorado,
Karri (Scott) Smith and
their sons, Cole and Levi
of Bismarck, Tena Kofoid
