Planning and Zoning Commission approves three plats

By Sue Sitter - | Mar 19, 2022

The City of Rugby Planning and Zoning Commission approved three plats on city land at a special meeting held the evening of March 14 at city hall.

The plats, all within city or extraterritorial limits, belong to Rugby landowners Bette and Roger Chalmers, Eileen Krick, and Gary and Helen Laughridge. The Chalmers property, known as Outlot 571, sits in the extraterritorial limits south of Rugby near Restoration Ministries Church. The Krick property, known as Outlot 572, lies near 5th Avenue Northwest, and the Laughridge property, known as Outlot 573, lies near 6th Street Southeast in Rugby.

After discussing the plats, all commission members recommended landowners provide information on the background and location of outlots to be platted.

Platted land will be included on maps of the City of Rugby.

The commission voted unanimously to recommend the Rugby City Council approves all plats.
