Pierce County Sheriff’s Office busy in September

Deputies with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office stayed busy during September, according to a report released by Sheriff Josh Siegler Oct. 2.

Siegler’s office responded to 59 total calls in Pierce County. The calls included three for medical aid, one fire call and five assistance calls for traffic accidents.

Sheriff’s deputies made 12 arrests, one for driving under the influence, two for driving under suspension, one for violation of a driver’s license restriction and one for fleeing law enforcement in a motor vehicle. The office served seven warrants.

Additionally, deputies served 13 papers and issued 21 citations.
