Jerald Duane “Jerry” Duane Tuchscherer, age 72, Mapleton, Kansas passed away Wednesday August 2, 2023. He was born on September 16, 1950, in Rugby, the son of Joe and Elda May Sveum Tuchscherer. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Beverly Summerfield. Jerry is survived by his wife, Janice, a son, Pete Tuchscherer, a daughter, Tricia Nieva, two brothers, Jim Tuchscherer, and Tim Tuchscherer, two sisters, Marsha Davis, and Mary Haugen, and three grandchildren, Sophia Tuchscherer, Austin Nieva and Alyssa Nieva.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to service time.
