Archers with the Pierce County 4-H Shooting Sports program scored among top teams in the Southeast Regional Archery Meet, held in West Fargo on March 12.

In the junior freestyle event, the Pierce County 4-H team took second place. The team of Jaxon Heilman, Raegan Hager, Aliyah Williams, and Seth Kunhnenn scored 414 total points, just three under the top team from Morton County.

Individually, Williams scored second place in the junior freestyle event with 142 points. Heilman tied for fifth place with 138 points, while Hager scored 134 points and Kuhnhenn scored 116 points.

In the beginner freestyle event, Harper Heilman scored 100 points, while Elijah Williams scored 50 points.

The Pierce County 4-H archers held a meet on March 21 in Rugby. Results from the meet will appear in next week’s edition.
