The Rugby Panthers High School Volleyball team took on the Harvey/Wells County Hornets in their last game of the regular season and dropped 3-1.

The Hornets took an early lead and kept it in the first set of the match, eventually winning the set 25-14 over the Panthers. The Hornets also led early in the second set, but the Panthers were quick to respond, and fought back to take the second set 25-22. The set ended with a kill from Rugby’s senior outside hitter Alli Blessum. Blessum was set by junior setter Royanne Livedalen after a dig from freshman Avery Santjer. The set point tied the match for the Hornets and the Panthers heading into the third set. The Hornets were quickly able to take back control of the match, winning set three on an ace 25-13. The Fourth and final set of the match would also go to the Hornets, ending with a score of 25-11. The Panthers dropped the last match of the regular season 3-1.
