WDA boys hockey tourney ready to go
The regular season is finally completed and the postseason is underway. The Western Dakota Association (WDA) boys hockey tournament kicked off on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Maysa Arena in Minot.
The games at Maysa kicked off with No. 3 Bismarck Legacy battling No. 6 Bottineau-Rugby in the final game of the quarterfinal round. Results of that game will be in the next edition.
The WDA Tournament Championship game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Maysa.
The North Dakota state boys’ hockey tournament will be hosted by Grand Forks Public Schools and played at Ralph Engelstad Arena on the campus of the University of North Dakota. The top four finishers from the West Region Tournament will join the top four place winners from the East Region Tournament. The tournament will be conducted Feb. 27-28 and March 1.
