Several districts held their championship games on Monday, Nov, 4, in preparation for region tournaments that will start soon.

The Rugby Panthers, seeded first in the District 11 tournament, played the Nedrose Cardinals in the championship game at Velva.

Nedrose was the sixth seed going into the tournament and played with upsets on the mind and on the courts.

The upsets ran out in the title contest as Rugby won 3-1 over Nedrose with scores of 25-20, 25-20, 19-25 and 25-20 for the title.
