Softball gets wins on road

Rugby High School’s softball team netted a pair of wins earlier this week in Westhope.

On Monday the Panthers won the first game against Westhope-Newburg-Bottineau 15-8 and the second game by a razor thin 14-13 margin.

The team is competing today at the Central McLean Jamboree two miles north of Turtle Lake. The team is scheduled to play Washburn’s junior varsity squad at 9 a.m., Ray at 11 a.m., and Central McLean’s junior varsity at 1 p.m.
