Rugby High School wrestlers traveled to Stanley late last week, dropping 30-16 to Velva and 31-23 to Stanley in the triangular.

At 106 pounds, Bryson Amyotte won by major decision over Stanley’s Cayne Rudolph. In duals against Velva, Amyotte fell to Shayden Schiele.

At 120, Ridley Odden won by decision over Stanley’s Dawson Sessing. Odden lost by decision to Velva’s Gunnar Mogen.

At 126, Austin Schneibel pinned Velva’s Triton Kaercher for the win. Stanley’s Justin Germundson won by decision over John Jundt.

At 132, Aden Jensen lost by pin to Velva’s Braetyn Yanish.

At 138, Wyatt Schmaltz got a win by forfeit in duals against Stanley, and won by major decision over Velva’s Lucas Seibuhr.

Riley Zachmeier won by pin over Velva’s Bransyn Yanish, and by major decision over Stanley’s Cody Rudolph.

At 152, Issac Christianson lost by pin to Stanley’s Keyton Meiers.

At 160, Brady Volk won by major decision over Stanley’s Camden Reep. Volk lost by decision to Velva’s Michael Thomas.

Dylan Grove won by pin over Stanley’s Jake Hines, and lost by pin to Velva’s Brayden Selzler.
