Rugby High School’s trapshooting team fell behind West Fargo in week two of the season.

But that wasn’t to be the case in week three.

Rugby was able to get a 2690.5 to 2235-point advantage over West Fargo to get back to the top of Class 1A-Conference 5. Enderlin sits in third with 6,062 total points scored, and Garrison currently sits at last place in the conference with 4,296.5 points scored as of week three.

In the top conference members, Rugby’s Kordell Kraft superseded teammate Seth Jaeger in week three for the males by hitting a 24.33 season average. Jaeger’s season average is 24. Four other Rugby team members made the top 10 for males in week three: Carson Mattern (23.33), Zach Jaeger (23), Kaden Jaeger (22.67) and Blair Kuhnhenn (22).

Kraft also sits at fifth for the top 10 overall as of week three, scoring the same season average as Oak Grove’s Kyle Kempel. Seth Jaeger sits at eighth, hitting the same season average as South Prairie’s Jackson Lindbo.

Kyla Radomski still sits at the top of the conference for the females, although her season average decreased from 24.25 in week two to 24.17 as of week three. Teammate Amber Schmaltz rounded out the top 10 females in the conference with a 17 season average.

Radomski’s season average put her on top overall for the females in week three. Gabby Fischer, of Central High School, sits behind her with a 23.33 season average.
