Panther boys basketball falls to Miners, 67-56
The Rugby Panther boys basketball team lost, 67-56, to the Beulah Miners at the Hoopster Classic last week at the Minot Municipal Auditorium.
The Miners got to an early 20-12 lead at the end of the first and a 17-8 lead before halftime.
The Panthers were able to go on a 24-8 rally to end the third quarter just one point behind. The Miners then solidified their lead, scoring 22-12 to end the game.
Jaden Hamilton led the Panthers in scoring with 18 points on the night, followed by Landen Foster with 11. Isaiah Johnson had 8 points, Trace Goven had 7, both Devan Michels and Brock Haakenson had 5, and Seth Jaeger had 2.
The Panthers hosted the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers Thursday night, and play the Harvey-Wells County Hornets tonight in Harvey. The next action for the Panthers is a road game Tuesday in Westhope.
