The Panthers won a pair of road games.

Tuesday evening, the Panthers won three sets against the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans, 25-6, 25-9 and 25-16.

Seven was the magic number on the stat sheets, as three were able to get that many in kills, aces, blocks and digs. Maddie Uhlenkamp led in both kills and blocks for the Panthers with seven in each, Brianna Leier led in aces with seven and Maria Blessum led in digs with seven as well.

For the Titans, Jaidyn Brummond led in both kills and aces with two; Kathryn Dragseth led in blocks (3), while Emma Dragseth led in digs (6) and assists (2).

Five days earlier, the Panthers traveled to Rolette to take on the Rolette-Wolford Comets.

There the Panthers also won three sets, 25-18 in the first and 25-17 both the following sets.

The Comets did not have a leader in kills, as Kinze Martinson, Maria Leonard and Courtney Thompson went away with three kills apiece. Leonard led in aces (3), Thompson led in digs (8) and Martinson led in blocks (5).

For the Panthers, Blessum led in both kills (10) and digs (14). Uhlenkamp led in both aces (6) and blocks (5). Alissa Volk led in assists.

The Panthers’ next two games are also on the road: Drake-Anamoose on Sept. 26 and Westhope-Newburg two days later.
