9-man football roundup
– Shayden Luna was a pivotal figure in the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans’ 40-26 win over Hatton-Northwood last week.
The senior running back was the recipient of two receiving TD’s, and also had a highlight reel-worthy 81-yard kickoff return for a score. And that wasn’t including three possessions Luna capped with scoring runs-a short run in the first quarter; a 14-yard run in the second; and a 25-yard run in the third.
– The Drake-Anamoose Raiders were back in action last week.
However they were outgunned against the St. John Woodchucks.
Bryor Parisien proved to be a threat early both on the ground and in the air, eating up the field on two keepers and connecting with Dalton Prouty twice in two scoring possessions following.
The Raiders sole points in the game came from a 7-yard scamper from Luke Kolchefski.
-The North Prairie Cougars had a trouncing of their own, defeating the North Star Bearcats 58-8.
