Rugby High School clay shooters make all-state team
Members of Rugby High School’s clay target shooting team were named to the North Dakota State High School Clay Target League’s 2017 All-State Team.
Seth Jaeger, Blake Haakenson, Kaden Jaeger and Kordell Kraft were named to the all-state team for the boys. Seth Jaeger hit a season average of 22.6; Kraft’s season average was 21.9; Haakenson’s was 21; and Kaden Jaeger’s was 20.6.
Kyla Radomski was the sole female from Rugby named to the all-state team, with a season average of 21.2.
As a team, Rugby dominated in Class A – Conference 4, ending the season with a combined 2711.5 points and getting a 281.5-point edge over Richland High School.
Awards will be given at the State Tournament, which will be held June 17.
