Panthers 10-0 in region

With road wins against Northern Lights on Monday and Harvey-Wells County last week, the Panthers remain undefeated in Region 5 baseball.

In Harvey, Anders Johnson hit both a single and a double and had two RBIs. Kyle Ebach and Isaiah Johnson also had doubles. The Panthers won, 3-1, over Harvey.

On the mound, Landen Foster and Dillon Marco had six strikeouts combined and gave up only two hits.

The Panthers then had another instance of the 10-run rule occur in their favor Monday in Rolette against Northern Lights.

John Mueller pitched a complete game in the 13-3 victory and had no errors or bases on balls, and got two strikeouts in five innings.

The Panthers had nine hits in Monday’s game. Hitters included Ebach and Isaiah Johnson, who each had two singles and two RBIs; Devan Michaels who had a single, a double and three RBIs; and Marco with two RBIs.

Panthers win jamboree games

The Panthers played two games in a jamboree on their home turf.

Rugby defeated Belcourt, 7-3, and Velva, 7-5.

The Panthers lost, 3-2 and 3-0, in two games against Carrington in a late addition to the schedule Tuesday in Rugby.

The Panthers head into the postseason with a 10-0 record in Region 5, and a 13-6 record overall. Region play starts Monday (May 22) in Rugby.
