Home run helps Panthers

By Staff | Apr 28, 2017

Isaiah Johnson had himself a good day last week at home.

The junior first baseman was able to hit a 3-run dinger at the top of the first inning against North Star. The Panthers ended the first inning ahead 4-1.

The Panthers gained runs in the second and third innings. North Star was only able to get one more run in the contest, with the final score being 6-2 in the Panthers’ favor.

Due to field conditions and weather, Tuesday’s home game against Harvey-Wells County was postponed to Friday. Friday and today’s games that were slated to be part of the Carrington Jamboree (New Rockford, Langdon Area-Edmore-Munich) were canceled.

The Panthers are slated to face Dunseith at home on Monday (May 1).
