Boys Golf: Rugby takes fourth at Bottineau

Rugby High School’s boys’ golf team took fourth place Tuesday at the Bottineau Invitational.

Levi Pollman was able to get a spot in the top five individual golfers, finishing in fourth place ahead of Harvey-Wells County’s Connor Fike (85), and behind Northern Lights’ Kyler McGillis (82).

Northern Lights took three of the top five spots, with Dalton Poitra (77) and Brody Cahill (82) taking first and second, respectively.

Ben Hershey was the next closest golfer for Rugby, shooting 90 on the tournament.

Four days prior in Underwood, Poitra (76) and Cahill (85) also had the top two spots on the tournament. Pollman led Rugby on the tournament, shooting 90.

The boys team competed in Dunseith on Friday, and their next action is Tuesday in Westhope.
