Braves Fall to Patriots

By Staff | Feb 5, 2016

Nic Costa managed to score an unassisted goal last week.

But it wasn’t enough.

The Bismarck Century Patriots’ hockey team scored six goals in the first period alone in a 10-1 victory over the Bottineau Braves.

Patriots’ Jake Yineman, Isaiah Thomas, Parker Simonson, Cole Foss, Cole Christianson and Tanner Stoddart skated away with two goals apiece on the evening, which marked a season-high score for their squad.

Braves goaltenders Ethan Clements managed 24 saves in two periods and Kaden Thorsell managed nine.

The Braves currently sit at 3-13 on the season and face Mandan and West Fargo this weekend.
