It all started Thursday when Coach Jessica Fritz, with a maternal hand, coached with care and encouragement the girl’s volleyball team to victory over Sawyer. Rugby won the first game 25-11, lost the second 25-27 in a hard-fought nail-biter, stormed back to take the third set 25-15, and then hung on 25-23 to win the fourth and final game to win the series.
