On the boys’ side of things, the Rugby High School Cross Country team had a dominant meet at Cross Roads Golf Course in Carrington on Tuesday.

Leading the way for the boys was senior Jaydin Risovi, who finished third out of 69 runners with an 18:20 time. Teammate and junior John Mueller wasn’t too far behind, taking fifth with an 18:57 time. Kyler Odden was the only Rugby runner who did not finish, due to a knee injury.

On the girls’ side of things, sophomore Tristin Lunde’s sixth place (16:40) finish help propel the team to a 30-point lead over their host and a fourth place finish (126). Hillsboro/Central Valley took first for the girls.
