It Was No Accident That Fun Was Had By All

By Staff | Aug 7, 2015

It was a smash ’em and bash ’em free-for-all last week, but it was no accident. It was Balta’s Annual Demolition Derby.

In the main derby John Hase, of Anamoose, smashed his way to first place. Mandy Fosness, of Grand Forks, showed her grit with a second place finish, and Michael Goulet, also of Grand Forks, was no slouch, coming in a respectable third place.

In the Herby Derby division, Josh Elverude from Leeds out classed everyone, taking a well-earned first place, with Clay Houle, of Belcourt, taking the second place prize.

Though these drivers were named winners of the Demolition Derby event, the hundreds that were in attendance were the real winners, with great reverie shared by all.
