Bantam team beats Minot

The Rugby-Bottineau Bantams beat the Minot Wolves 4-2 in a game at Al Wentz Arena on Nov. 29.

R-B goalie Micah Hershey made 17 saves and received plenty of support as his team had 29 shots on goal.

Three of the team’s four goals came on the power play, beginning with a Jace Scherr goal in the first period off assists from Gabe Clements and Riley Olson.

Carter Dockter scored the second goal of the period off an assist from Joe Khalifa.

R-B got a second-period goal from Wyatt Haakenson with an assist from Olson.

Dockter scored again in the third period off assists from Haakenson and Alex Hoffert.

Minot had goals in the first and third periods. R-B improved to 1-0-1 on the season.
