Rugby boys win 3-on-3 tourney

A total of 22 teams competed in the RJ Darling Memorial 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at Leeds Harvest Days on July 20.
Team Ackerman won the men’s division with team members Gus Keiber, Ethan Evanson, Tyson Ackerman, Jordan Mertens and coach Adam Karas.
Team Taylor won the women’s division with members Kristi Medallion, Courtney Bubach, Annie Jorgenson, Taylor Bisbee and Maria Sears.
Dragons (Meghan Jorgenson, Becca Eberle, Sara Schwanke and Morgan Titus) took second and Still Got it (Amanda Klemestrud, Sara Schafer, Becca Scherr, Kaitlyn Scherr and Chania Scherr) took third.
The high school boys division was won by Wells County Bears (Chris Julson, Kaden Martinson, Lane Ritterman and Aiden Ritterman). Rezerves (Andrew Alveshere, Matt Hunt and Quentin Sears) took second and Team Wilton (Brandon Jenkins, Wyatt Silliman, Travis Dickson, Ethan Silliman and Joe Silliman) took third.
The junior high boys division was won by Rugby Swish (Devan Michels, Jaden Hamilton and Trace Goven). Ritterman Trucking (Keaton Nelsen, Reganne Ritterman, Declan Ritterman and Will Sears) took second.
Competing in the elementary division were Blayne Anderson, Desidy Schwanke, Jaylen Anderson, McKenna Tofsrud, Kearyn Nelsen, John Fischer, Seth O’Connell and Carson Tracy.
