Submitted photo Teams prepare to tee off at the Good Samaritan Health ?Services Golf Tournament, which raised money for therapeutic baths at the Haaland Estates.

The GSHS golf tournament fundraiser, which took place on July 17, set new records for revenue and proceeds. Success of this event represents the great support of our community. We continue to be overwhelmed by their generosity.

This was a great way to kick off our campaign to raise funds for therapeutic baths at Haaland Estates. The project involves remodeling and installation of easy access tubs. It is designed to improve the quality of life and care our residents at Haaland Estates experience. Currently we have standard tubs which by design lead to seldom use by residents of limited physical mobility. The proposed baths have grown in use by basic care and assisted living caregivers. They create a more pleasing experience for residents. A warm bath can be one of the best parts of the day. It enhances positive mood and increases physical health and mobility.
