The Rugby Panthers Cross Country Team played at the Star City Course in Velva on Aug. 30 in the Minot Mouse River Local. The girls brought home a 4th place finish while the boys took 5th place.

Allison Foster placed 14th out of 66 runners with a 16:40 time in the 4000 Meters Race. Bailey Nelson finished in 21st place with a time of 17:13. Hannah Christenson took 24th place with a time of 17:22. Natalie Barr placed 31st with a time of 18:02 with Alexis Thompson right behind her with 33rd place and a time of 18:10. Mckenzie Johnson placed 42nd with a time of 19:02. Tashal Trottier came home with 66th place and a time of 23:17.

The Minot girls team won the meet with a team score of 94. Individual winner was Abi Waloch, Southern McLean, with a time of 15:47.

The Rugby Varsity boys team ran a 5000 Meters race with 76 total runners. Tanner Bernhardt took 11th place with a time of 18:03. John Mueller came in 42nd with at time of 21:32. Nolan Hovland was in 51st place with a time of 22:08, and Noah Kraft placed 62nd with a time of 23:33.

Williston won the meet for the boys with a team score of 18. Rugby was fifth with 242 points. Individual winner for the boys was Chris Chamberlain, Williston, with a time of 16:53.
