Fossum shoots a 92
The Rugby boys were led by Brady Fossum with a total of 92 for the 18 holes at the Northern Lights Invitational on April 30. Fossum shot a 45 on the first nine and 47 on the back nine. He had a great meet.
The three top golfers were Darren Young, Benson County, with a 79, Nick Myhre, Northern Lights with an 81 and Casey Julson, Northern Lights, with an 86. Northern Lights took first place in the tourney with 369 total team points.
Benji Miller did a great job on the first nine holes earning a 44. The last nine he golfed a 68 which hurt his total of 112 overall. Pat Stadum did an excellent job on both front and back nines with 50 on the first and 45 on the back for a total of 95.
Rounding out the top six for Rugby was Brody Haakenson with a 53+55 for 108; Tanner Lind shot a total of 116 with 57 on the front nine and 59 on the back; and Noah Kraft shot 60 and 63 for a 123 total.
Rugby brought home a fifth place finish with 407.
