Pacesetters heads to Great Four-State Championship

The Pacesetters earned a trip back to the Great Four-State Championship at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Rugby’s 9th grade boys’ traveling basketball team, Pacesetters, beat LaMoure in Grand Forks on April 9 which assured them a trip back to Minneapolis. They competed against West Fargo-Sheyenne in the championship game and they won the title.

Members of the team inlcude: Luke Bacon, Granville (TGU), Chris Hamilton and Jaedon Haman, Rugby, Hunter Bratten, Dakota Walden and Ethan Miller all of Westhope. The team was coached by Brock Haman and Mark Hamilton.

The boys will be heading to Minneapolis in June where they will be competing in the Great Four-State Championship at the Target Center.
