The NDHSAA board voted 10-1 on June 21 to keep the Class B boys’ and girls’ golf seasons in the spring rather than move them to the fall.

Both Rugby golf coaches Gary Myhre and Toni Stevenson were in favor of a switch, citing several positives that would come out of it. Among those was enabling golfers to play on better course conditions and get in more meets. It was the first time a proposal to change the golf seasons came before the NDHSAA.
