Leeds dissolves co-op

By Staff | Feb 5, 2010

Leeds and Minnewaukan schools have joined together the past seven years to co-op in boys and girls basketball, but that relationship is ending. On Jan. 27, the Leeds School Board voted to dissolve the basketball co-op with Minnewaukan, which came as a surprise to school officials there.

At the same meeting, the board approved a co-op in those sports with Maddock, said Joel Braaten, Leeds school superintendent.

Leeds also co-ops with both Minnewaukan and Maddock for boys and girls track and football.
