Duchscher reached the championship for a third straight year by topping No. 6 Rick Bruggeman in the first round and No. 2 Corey Espe in the semifinals.
Espe, who carded a five-over round of 78 to earn medalist and low handicap honors in the 18-hole qualifier a day earlier, finished third, defeating Hovland. Bruggeman rallied for fifth place.
