Cross Country, football practices begin this week
Cross country practice begins this Monday, Aug. 10, signaling the start of the fall high school sports season.
Rugby’s program will hold its first practice at 7 p.m. that day at Johnsen Field. It’s open to athletes entering grades 7-12. Participants are asked to bring running attire, including running shoes and their current and completed physical examination forms signed by a parent or guardian.
Football practice begins on Wednesday, Aug. 12. Rugby’s first practice is at 7:30 a.m. on the practice field. Athletes should bring with them their current and completed medical physical examination form signed by a parent or guardian.
Participants who need equipment should report to the football locker room at the city armory at 7:15 a.m.
The first girl’s volleyball practice is Monday, Aug. 17. Rugby’s practice is schedule to begin at 9 a.m. that day for participants entering grades 7-12. Practices will be held in the Charles Hanneman Gymansium nd Rugby Armory. Athletes should bring with them their current and completed medical physical examination form and signed by a parent or guardian.
