North Prairie’s second season in Class A football didn’t yield as much success as its first, but the Cougars accomplished a lot nonetheless.

NP (Rolla-Rolette-Wolford-Rock Lake) again posted a winning record; earned its second straight postseason appearance; and landed more players on all-state teams.

Four players, in fact, a senior and three juniors were named to all-state teams.

Rolla senior Jayde Wuori and Rolette junior Nic Pfeifer were named to the first team. Rolla junior Michael Bonn and Rolette junior Blake Nelson were second team picks.

Wuori was one of the Cougars’ top receivers and defensive backs. Pfeifer was an offensive and defensive lineman.

Bonn was the team’s leading rusher and also played defensive back. Nelson was a lineman and linebacker.
