Call for bids. The Rugby Job

Development Authority is call for

bids on mowing only and trimming

on Chalmer’s undeveloped lots

within the City of Rugby for the 2021

growing season.

Bid should specify cost for mowing

and trimming each time it is mowed.

Mowing services needed May after

the grass grows to 6 inches to not

exceed 9 inches in length mowing

will be done by the discretion of the

JDA. Mowing must be done regular-

ly to meet the City of Rugby ordi-

nances for a height of no higher than

9 inches. Trimming around signs or

post when needed. Bids must be re-

ceived at the Rugby Job Develop-

ment Authority offices not later that

10:00 am on May 28th, 2021.

Mowing hours to cut the grass from

8:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday

through Sunday.

gulations of Pierce County, North

Dakota, the Pierce County Commis-

sion will hold a public hearing on

Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 9:30 A.M.,

in the commissioner’s room of the

Pierce County Courthouse, 240 2nd

St SE, Rugby, ND 58368, for a con-

ditional use permit requested by

Central Point Landfill & Transfer Sta-

tion, LLC, for an “inert land fill &

transfer station” located in Lot 2 of

Section 1, Township 155 North,

Range 73 West; and a conditional

use permit requested by Susag

Sand & Gravel, Inc. for a “gravel pit”,

located in the N1/2 of Section 3,

Township 151 North, Range 73

Rugby Public Schools requests

Statements of Qualifications for

Construction Management at Risk

Services for potential improvements

to existing facilities. This project is

subject to voter approval of a bond

referendum, and no construction

commitments will be made prior to

voter approval. The project scope

has not been finalized but will in-

clude addition and renovation to Ely

Elementary School.

Interested Construction Manage-

ment firms must submit a statement

of qualifications by 12:00 pm on

June 4, 2021, directed to:

Firms selected for an interview shall

be notified by the School District and

informed of a place and time for the

interview. The selection committee

will review the qualifications of each

firm on June 8, 2021 and will setup

interviews on June 9, 2021. The firm

will need to be available onsite or by

video conference for their interview.

The School District will choose the

firm at their regular board meeting

on June 14th at 7:00 am.

Rugby Public School requests the

following material for use in select-

ing the Construction Manager:

1. Procedure:

a. Eight (8) copies of 8 1 /2” x 11″

bound submittals, plus an electronic

submittal to Dawn Hauck, Business

Manager, at Dawn.Hauck@k12.nd.


2. Content of Submittal and Selec-

tion Criteria:

a. The company’s experience on

any similar projects.

a.i. Provide up to 5 similar projects.

a.ii. Include schedule, construction

b. The company’s existing workload

and available capacity.

c. The company’s key personnel ex-

perience on any similar projects.

sonnel to be assigned to this project.

e. The company’s familiarity with the

location of the public improvement.

A selection committee consisting of

members of the Rugby Public

Schools Board of Education, Super-

intendent of Schools, Business

Manager, Architect, Engineer, and a

Contractor will short list firms, con-

duct the interview process, and

evaluate submittals, in accordance

with the Century Code of the State

of North Dakota.

Rugby Public Schools reserves the

right to reject any and all proposals

and to waive irregularities and infor-

malities therein and further reserves

the right to award the contract in the

best interests of the School District.
