Balta city council meeting

August 10, 2020

The 7:30 pm meeting was called to

order by Mayor Jundt. Present were

councilmen Hallof and Rennock.

Joe Axtman also attended the meet-

ing. Hallof made a motion to ap-

prove the minutes as read. Rennock

seconded the motion. Rennock

made a motion to approve the

treasurers report as read. Hallof

seconded the motion. Old Business:

The real estate being sold by the city

of Balta, namely the jailhouse lot,

has been put in motion at the

lawyers office and has been written

up and needs to be signed and filed.

Joe stated he is ready to begin the

overhaul. New Business: The year

end audit was presented and looked

over. Hallof made a motion to ap-

prove the audit. Rennock seconded

the motion. The budget for next year

was presented and analyzed. Hallof

made a motion to approve the budg-

et. Rennock seconded the motion.

The board approved paying the bills;

Northern Plains Electric $348.80,

Circle Sanitation $548.00, Tribune

$22.94, Mack Accounting $250.00,

Heseb Unlimited {flag} $40.90,

Farmers Union Insurance $625.00,

and James Rennock $440.00. A

new flag will be installed at the park.

No other business before the board

Hallof made a motion to adjourn the

meeting. Rennock seconded the

motion.
