Two huge thanks are due two entities in Rugby.

First, the Public Works/Roads Dept. staff and drivers deserve a massive thanks for the great job they have done with snow removal and road maintenance during our recent storms. It’s a huge feat, and you have done it masterfully. Thank you for your labors and for serving the public so well.

Second, a shout out to Rugby PD. Every morning a patrol officer unlocks the Armory at 6:00 a.m. so that people like me can walk. Thank you for that effort. (And if the building is not unlocked on time, the PD is very polite if/when you call to remind them.) I know the officers on patrol have far more pressing duties, so I’m grateful for their efforts to do something as mundane as unlocking a door and turning on the lights. Thank you. It is much appreciated.
