Dear Editor,

In regard to the city council minutes about the fire, I have just one thing to say: “Conflict Resolution”. You need to bring someone in to conduct a Conflict Resolution seminar and ALL city officials need to attend. Then you need to set up a few more for all the government employees to attend. Maybe some business in town will follow suit and have seminars for their companies as well.

Since I’ve moved back to this area, I’ve noticed too much “Don’t you know who I am?” and that needs to stop. No one person is more important than anyone else. We need to stop acting like children. Take responsibility for your actions. Step up and be a good example. It’s all about personal responsibility.

Actually, I want to say one more thing. You do not have ‘girls’ working for you. You have capable employees and team members. If you want to address them, refer to their names or department, not ‘girls’.
