11-8-14 Letters to the Editor

By Staff | Nov 7, 2014

Women are beating breast cancer

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my one-on-one interview with Jody Tuchscherer it would be that as a woman you must educate yourself about breast cancer. The startling truth is that you can be diagnosed even if there is absolutely no family history. Think about eight women in your family, statistics show one of you could be diagnosed with breast cancer.

Thankfully with technology and modern medicine, women are beating this debilitating disease and Jody is living proof.

Thanks to Tribune

I want to thank the Pierce County Tribune for the awesome job they have been doing to enlighten me with what is ‘actually’ happening in the community.

I also want to personally thank the Editor, Tim Chapman, for attending all those meetings; City Council, County Commissioner and JDA, just to name a few. It has been an ‘eye-opener’ to finally find out what actually is being said vs. reading some published minutes.

Keep up the good work!
