North Dakota has a citizens legislative body as do many states. 47 senators and 94 house members known as representatives. For a total of 141 members. In the 2009 session this was made up of 129 men and 22 women. Do you see something wrong here? This is a very low number of women legislators compared to other states. In the election coming in November, maybe we should forget about being Democrat or Republican and look for the few women candidates in your district. Women contribute so much to our society. They should be represented more equally. Do we feel a little left out? I am going to vote women and start to get some better balance.
