There are so many people in our world to be thankful for. Each and every one of us brings something to this world and our community. Many people get the much deserved public recognition for their work and thoughts, others don’t.

Yet there are so many that don’t get that recognition and still keep doing and giving even more. I believe that one of those many hidden treasures of this community is Don Sobolik. I still only know a fraction of what Don does in bringing this community together. I constantly see bits and pieces of the work and dedication Don has for this community and his family. Being in the middle of many civic organizations, volunteer committees and other activities, Don handles it all with wisdom and a positive attitude.

We all need to constantly think about, and remind ourselves, of all the people who make a difference in our community and in other people’s lives. Stop and shake their hand and thank them for what they do, large or small.
