Michael Jelsing

Michael John Jelsing, the son of Marvin and Gail (Ekren) Jelsing was born on April 25, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He died unexpectedly early Sunday morning, July 26, 2026 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota.

He graduated from Rugby High School in 1988. He is survived by his sister, Angela (Frederick) Baillie of Rugby and nephew, Zachary (Tessa) Baillie of Rugby. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7 at First Lutheran Church in Rugby and burial will be after lunch in the Persilla Watts Cemetery in Rugby. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service and sharing of memories beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby.
