Enrique Adrian Perez, 33, of Leeds, ND tragically passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 in rural Leeds after injuries sustained in an elevator accident. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Leeds Lutheran Church with Pastor Sharon officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service. Casual dress wear is requested.

Enrique Adrian Perez was born September 13, 1992 to Manuel and Adriana Aguirre in Zamora, Michoacan Mexico. He was raised in Mexico until the age of five, then receiving his United States citizenship in 2007 in California. Enrique completed high school and graduated from Hayward High School in Hayward, California with the class of 2011. He furthered his education at a trade school, Heald College in California.

In June 2014, Enrique was united in marriage to Rebecca Silva in Oakland, California. The couple with step son Terence moved to Leeds, North Dakota in October 2014 where Enrique was employed with Northern Plains Electric. He again furthered his education, attending the Little Hoop Community College in Fort Totten, North Dakota. In 2016, Enrique and Rebecca welcomed a son, Oscar.

Enrique enjoyed racing and watching the Drift Car and Rally Car races. He was passionate about hunting and gun safety. Enrique had a mind for learning and was open to learn about anything he did not know. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Enrique is survived by his parents, Manuel and Adriana Aguirre; son, Oscar; step-son, Terence; ex-wife, Rebecca and numerous siblings and cousins.
