Vernon Opstedal, 83 of Rugby died on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 16th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rugby. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby and will continue on Friday for one hour prior to the time of services at the church. Burial will take place in the spring.
