Nettie Schneider, 90, Jamestown, ND died Thursday September 19, 2024, at Ave Maria in Jamestown, ND.

Nettie was born October 12, 1933, at Orrin, ND, the daughter of Bernard and Theresa (Volk) Burgard. She attended the local school where she received her elementary education and grew to womanhood.

She and Raphael Schneider were married October 1, 1956, at Orrin, ND. They made their home on the farm near Orrin for many years. In 2016, she moved to Jamestown for health reasons, to live with sons Raphael and Michael. In 2021, she entered Ave Maria where she has continued to live.

Nettie is survived by her daughter, Diana (Tim) Frenzel, Jamestown, ND; 4 sons, Michael Schneider, Jamestown, ND; Randolph Schneider, Orrin, ND; Darrel Schneider, Jamestown, ND; Dale Schneider, Grand Forks, ND; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Matt (Evelyn) Burgard, Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raphael, 1 son, Raphael, 4 sisters, Theresa Martwick, Marion Stach, Tilly Burgard, Angie Mitzel, 3 brothers, Jon Burgard, Christ Burgard and Bennie Burgard.

Visitation: 4-7:00 p.m. Sunday Sept 22, 2024 at the Haut Funeral Home. Prayer Service, 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Haut Funeral Home with Rosary at 6:30. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Monday, Sept 23, 2024, at the Basilica of St. James, Jamestown, ND. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Orrin, ND.
