Rolette

Sameul Emmanuel Martinus Hein, the son of Ed and Susanna Hein was born on April 4, 2024 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota. He passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Belcourt Hospital.

Sammy was 6 lbs and 7 oz at birth. He loved to be held and was sensitive to light, discovering colors like yellow, black and white. He loved milk and had pumpkin butt diapers. He enjoyed being wrapped up tight in his blanky and did not like his feet in a loose onesie, always kicking until he got both feet in one pant leg and then would be upset. He loved to touch his face and people near him. He was never scared of anything and was a peaceful sleeper.

So many friends and family prayed for Sameul before he was born and after as well. He is and was loved by everyone, before he was even born until the day he passed away and forever. He will always be loved and remembered by everyone that knew him. Sammy is survived by his parents, Ed and Susanna of Rolette; siblings, Ed and Martinus Hein, Lacey Magathan and Edwin B Hein; aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 16 at Ebenezer Lutheran Brethren Church in Rolette with burial in the Rolette Cemetery. Pastor Gene Wilson, officiating.
