Cheryl Holm, the daughter of Robert and Sharon (Rodacker) Calheim was born on February 9, 1960, in Fargo. She entered into her Heavenly rest after her battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, surrounded by her family at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.

Cheryl attended school at Harvey Public Schools, graduating in 1978. She worked at St. Aloisius Facility as a CNA for several years. Continuing her education, she attended Northwest Baptist Bible College in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, graduating in 1984. In 1989, she married Milt Holm and a son was born to their union on February 26, 1991, in Rugby. Johnathan was their pride and joy. In 2019, a grandson was born to join Cheryl and she loved him with all of her heart. He brought her much joy as did Johnathan. Cheryl worked at Sacred Heart Hospital as CNA, in advertising at the KZZJ Radio station and the Pierce County Tribune, also worked at the Cobblestone Inn in Rugby. She recently worked for The ND Driver’s License Division until her death.

Cheryl leaves her loving partner, Steve Lien; son, Johnathon; grandsons, Joseph and Adrian; her mother, Sharon of Harvey; sisters, Diane Nygaard of Jamestown, Vicky Calheim and Jennifer (John) Donarski, all of Harvey; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milt; her father and grandparents.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Rugby with burial in the Persilla Watts Cemetery, Rugby. Pastor Nathan Steen, officiating.
